Introduction to innoVent

InnoVent, founded 1996 in Germany, is dedicated to the development, financing, construction and operation of wind farms world-wide. Already in 2001 innoVent extended to other European countries, such as Spain, Sweden and France as well as Turkey, where innoVent planned and realized the 42,5 MW wind farm Yuntdag near Izmir in 2007.

In parallel, innoVent's affiliated company InfraVest developed and realized wind farms in PR China and Taiwan, accounting to an installed capacity of 200 MW until today.

In 2003 innoVent also entered the American continent by establishing representations in Brazil and Uruguay, followed by Panama. All plannings were started from the scretch. In Brazil, innoVent realized the 74 MW wind farm Tramandai near Porto Alegre in 2009. Project pipelines in Uruguay and Panama were sold to other investors.

Today, innoVent has ramped down its international activities and is solely focusing on Brazil, where it counts with a portfolio of projects in different development stages, in excess of 4 GW.
